I need a beer, and a smoke. WHAT A GAME WHAT A GAME. They played pretty well all things considered, i have more hope for them every week.
If whats-his-name makes that kick, Dallas goes up by +4, and we have to basically haul ass to cover 100 yards in a minute or so. With no time outs. That was exactly what had to happen for us to win.
And now we get to watch the other teams beat up on each other, with an extra day of rest. I need it as much as they do.
Since when are Field Goals worth 5 points?
They would have been up by 2. Seattle would have only had to get to field goal range. Easily doable.
Now, if they got that first down, it would have been over.
Right as I typed that, I knew it looked wrong. You’re right. With Josh Brown, all we have to do is get to the fifty and we’re golden.
Follow-up trivia bit: In the beginning, the field goal was considered the harder of the two options to pull off, and was worth 5 points, as opposed to the easier touchdown, which was only worth four.
Well, yeah, but back then, you probably had to drop-kick it on the fly to score, and play didn’t stop for silly things like “the guy is down”.

I would have put last night up with the 93 Turkey Day game versus the Fish(AKA Leon Lett Screws Up Deux) as one of my most heart-breaking as a fan of the Boys.
